I'm Chloe, Provider of Space & Inner Healing

I'm honored to be a part of your journey toward inner peace and healing. My style of therapy is humanistic and person-centred which means that I believe that you know best for your life; that you are the expert on your thoughts, feelings, life experiences.

I feel very privileged and love my therapeutic work which I have been practicing for the past 13 years. For me, counselling is not simply meeting for an hour once per week – it is far more than that – it is a journey whereby you practice acceptance, forgiveness, change, gain new insights and learn new ways to improve your thinking and behaviour.

You can expect a warm, non-judgmental, empathetic welcome. My work is underpinned by a compassionate and mindfulness approach which supports the creation of a collaborative, strong therapeutic relationship. My heartfelt, empathetic style provides a calm and safe environment so you can explore and uncover blocks that be affecting you from living a more fulfilled life. I view my role in therapy as nurturing self-reliance, fostering self-belief, helping people achieve acceptance and effect positive change.

Counselling Services

Child and Adolescent Counselling

Working with young people has always been my passion and I have over 15 years’ experience working with children of varied ages as a family support worker, social worker and youth mental health clinician.

I have experience with working with young people who have experienced  eating disorders, self-harm, low mood, stress, school avoidance, disrupted sleep, overthinking, exam worry, low self-confidence or self-esteem, bullying, gender identity, not feeling happy or not fitting in – this list could go on and on because no two people are ever the same. 

I love working with adolescents because when a young person is learning to build resilience and learning new skills and techniques such as how to manage worried thoughts or to control anger or anxiety – these are the same skills that will be utilised into adulthood.

Individual Counselling

During 1:1 counselling sessions, we will explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be causing you emotional and physical distress. Together we will discover new and healthier ways of coping and letting go of past experiences, enabling you to move forward with your life.

I can also help you to learn about, and come to a greater understanding of yourself. Sometimes our troubles can be overwhelming. Talking with a therapist or counsellor can help alleviate the stress and help you to learn to cope with the situation in a better way.

I have specific experience working in the following areas: stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, sexuality, stigma, relationship issues, emotional dysregulation, obsessive compulsive disorders, eating distress, trauma and abuse.

Parenting Consultations

Parenting support sessions give parents a safe, non-judgmental space to be listened to, heard and understood. They empower parents with new insights and ways of understanding their child.

Parent sessions can take place online via zoom or in person. The initial parenting session lasts for 70mins and sessions thereafter 50 mins.

Sessions can be attended by both or one parent. It is beneficial when both parents can attend as different parents will have different insights and experience into their child. The first session will focus on gathering information so I can form an assessment and devise a care plan. I aim to try to be responsive to what it is that you need and want to gain from the session.
